Nurstead provides 24-hour a day, 7 day a week mobile crisis services to Roosevelt and Curry County. Mobile Crisis services are designed to assist individuals who are in crisis by providing services wherever the individual is located. Often when individuals are in crisis an assessment to determine placement is what occurs, but Nurstead crisis services go further, our services will perform this evaluation, but also provide brief counseling to address the present crisis and provide referrals to services that can assist in longer-term crisis prevention. Crisis services are designed to reduce and ideally resolve a crisis either by phone, Televideo, in-person, or a combination of these.
Mobile crisis services can be accessed by calling 988, 911, or directly by calling the Nurstead Crisis Access Line at 575.201.HELP.
