Nurstead Mental Health

Teen Substance Use Group

Nurstead Mental Health’s teen substance abuse program is designed to help teens who have experimented with, begun using, or regularly use substances of any type. Using a group format, the discussions will help teens to identify why they are using and healthy ways to avoid substance use in the future. The 12-week program helps teens better understand their drug use, but also addresses topics such as self-image, better decision making, and understanding how to create change in their life, not just in connection with drugs and alcohol, but positive change in all areas of life.

All Addiction Assessment and Treatment Services are available statewide through the use of Telehealth options.
